For anyone looking for a really unique and personal experience I highly recommend Wilde Jewellery in Hitchin. When looking for my engagement ring with my fiancé I knew I didn't want the standard 'big rock' but thought I'd never find anything really unique until we stumbled across Wilde while we wandered around Hitchin. The two ladies assisting us couldn't have been more helpful, they were honest and passionate about the pieces in the store and seemed genuinely concerned that I got the right ring for me, not just the one with highest price tag. I fell in love with a ring by designer Deborah Kelly-Hopkins. I didn't just get an engagement ring, I got a piece of art that I can carry around with me forever.

I got two pairs of earrings from here 2 years ago. I'm wearing the earrings today. They're still holding up beautifully. I wear the hoops daily and take them out at night, so the hinge is a little loose but that's to be expected with how much I've used them. Neither set of earrings have tarnished in any way and look like they did when I bought them. I really recommend this shop. You really get your value for money. I was also quite slow to decide what to buy, and the staff were patient and helpful. I'll probably come back here to buy some more jewellery when I'm next in the area.

We've been using Wilde in Hitchin for about 3 years. They have a real knack for selecting jewellery that is refreshingly contemporary and stylish at an affordable price point for gifts. We have sent numerous pieces of jewellery out to nieces in Australia for Birthdays and Christmas, which they've loved. The staff and owner are always very friendly and its a pleasure just to mooch in the shop! I've got my eye on a lovely 'Danish Design' watch, lets hope Santa takes the hint ;-)

Very kind and helpful staff! Came in looking for a pretty specific item and was pleasantly surprised when I learned they had one left within budget! I tried it on and it was perfect. We added a chain extender for a small price which will arrive in a week or so. The staff even helped me get a necklace I had previously purchased untangled. Visited Wilde in Hitchin to buy a wedding ring. Although I didn't end up purchasing the ring from Wilde, I was impressed with Ieneke and the care and attention provided throughout the process. Highly recommend based on the customer experience and I will most definitely consider this jewellers on my next purchase/gift.

Beautiful shop, with a really good range of lovely jewellery. I have bought lots of earrings over the years, and had an antique piece of jewellery remade by Wilde into a (much admired) gorgeous three tiered ring. Highly recommend a visit.

What a lovely shopping experience! Such a friendly shop full of gorgeous jewellery .

We frequently purchase from Wilde at Christmas, birthdays etc. However, having travelled to specifically purchase today I cannot express how rude and patronising I found the sales lady. We weren’t spending much on this occasion, which I expect was the problem, but instead of helping us find a suitable pair of earrings, she actively decided we weren’t worth the effort. Purchasing from independent businesses should be a pleasure. Will not be using Wilde again.
